Just put up some pics from the Camp Freddy show I shot in L.A. tonight over at the Facebook page. What a fun night! On top of the usual list of bandmates from the various well-known bands, Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpinks came out for a few tunes, as well as Sully Erna from Godsmack, and Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols. It was a great time... if they’re ever in your neck of the woods, be sure to get out and see them bash out some classic tunes. Click here to see the photos...

Whew!! Crazy times over the last few months.
I’m going on the road with Billy Idol, shooting the entire 2010 tour! We just wrapped up the rehearsals... and we’ll hit the road, starting in Russia, in just under 2 weeks. It’s going to be great!
One of the cool things we’ve got in store for the tour is coverage of all the action via blog & photos. Rhythm guitarist, actor, and all around great guy, Billy Morrison, will be handling the words... and I’ll be handling the photos. You can follow it all at www.billyidol.net.
The entries for the first two weeks of rehearsal have been posted already... check them out at the following links...

Whoa! Long time without an update... cause we moved from Austin to New York! Happy to be settled in a bit and ready to shoot more photos. My photo, “Order In The Court,” is now flying over downtown Georgetown, TX. You can find it right outside the Georgetown Courthouse, on Austin Street. There are also a bunch of other great pieces that are being flown over the city, so go check it out if you get a chance!

My image, “Order In The Court,” has been selected to be part of the Georgetown, TX “Happy Trails” Banner Project. This means that there will be a 2’x4’ banner of the photo flying somewhere over downtown Georgetown in October and November. Very cool to be a part of this! Thanks to everyone involved!

Just got back from a great 10 days in Door County, WI. Got some great shots of the peninsula both at sunrise and sunset. If you ever get the chance, visit Door County... it’s a really relaxing and pretty place (plus, they’ve got cheese curds and the best cherry pie anywhere!). You can see some of the shots in my Landscape Gallery and my Still Life Gallery, or check out the Door County set on my flickr pages.

Two of my images, “Order In The Court” and “First Light,” will be on display at the Framer’s Gallery in Georgetown, TX for the month of August. The Framer’s Gallery is the largest fine arts gallery in Williamson County. The gallery features the largest selection of original art and crafts made by local artists. So, if you’re in the area, please stop by and see my photos as well as lots of other great pieces by local artists.

Wow! I thought it was cool enough to win the Georgetown edition of Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk... but, I’ve also been awarded the “Best of Georgetown Square” prize by the Georgetown Convention and Visitor’s Bureau for my photo “Order In the Court.” There were lots of great images entered for this contest and, again, I’m very honored to have been chosen. Thanks to everyone at the Georgetown CVB for putting on the contest!

I’m quite honored to announce that my photo “First Light” was chosen as the winning image for the Georgetown, TX photo walk, as part of Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk. I’m very grateful to everyone involved in the walk, I had a blast... and to have my image chosen was a very welcome surprise!
